Play Bow Dog Training LLC is a new dog training facility in Tacoma, WA. One of the trainers, Numia, provided training for our dog shortly after we rescued her. She is an outstanding trainer and seems to have a lot of fun teaching people how to be better dog owners.
Dianna designed their logo, business cards, post cards and signage. She also provided the initial layout of the website. I converted her design into a WordPress theme.

We had a great time at the Moustache Revival Party held by Rusty George Creative and The Harmon Hub on September 30th. There was a band, Nine Pound Hammer, and a very nice turnout at the event. All proceeds went to the American Cancer Society.
I started growing the ‘stache about three weeks prior to the party, when I first saw a flyer at Satellite Coffee. Actually, I grew a goatee and shaved immediately before heading to the Stadium District of Tacoma for the party. I chose the “horseshoe” from one of the links provided on the party web site. I’m glad I did because it one me a fantastic trophy for “Synchronized Staching”. My brother-in-stache Wes(?) connected in time to form a syncronized staching team, and were declared the winners by crowd applause.
First, I’d like to thank my parents, who gave me the tools I needed to accomplish my stache-growing goal. I want to thank my wife, Dianna, for dealing with the stacheburn these last couple of weeks.

We went down to the Washington History Museum today where the Northwest Native Arts Market & Festival was taking place. Just prior we had gone to Hot Rod Dog, across the street, for a great chili dog and a bratwurst. It was too hot too hang out for an extended period of time. The high today was 90°, but it seemed hotter than that. There was some drumming taking place and a lot of great art being sold by vendors. The best part was talking for a while with David Boxley, who produces some of the most amazing Northwest Coast native art. We always find ourselves drawn to his prints, masks and especially his bentwood boxes. We bought a small print of his titled Killer Whale. Maybe some day we will be able to get one of his large bentwood chests. He was very friendly, taking time from sketching on a bentwood box to talk to us and let us see the photo album of some of his work, and James Earl Jones!

We took advantage of the cruise that Roxanne, from Love Tacoma, put together for everyone. The weather turned out great and a lot of cool people showed up. We learned about the Tacoma Rotary and YPNTacoma. Can’t wait for the next event!
