Catching Some Chum Salmon

Bryan with a Chum SalmonI got to assist in collecting some data to help forecast returns of chum salmon to Puget Sound. There was a sea lion that thought we were rounding up fish for him to eat. He would get in the net area and scare the chum away and eat a few. It took him a while to get the hint that he should not be in the net. He was not hurt and we eventually were able to catch several hundred salmon.

Grand Valley Hike

North Pacific International Chapter of AFS

I volunteered to assist the local chapter of the American Fisheries Society in revamping their Web site. I used Wordpress as a framework in order to provide the Chapter with an easy to manage site that wouldn’t require them to purchase software or have extensive knowledge of web technologies.
